FC Midtjylland have tonight confirmed they have signed Erik Sviatchenko on a permanent four-year deal.
The defender had been on-loan to The a Danish side since January and helped them win just the second league title in their history last week.
Erik had made a promising start to his Celtic career under Ronny Deila but faded away under current boss Brendan Rodgers.
The player makes the switch back to his homeland and does so with everyone’s best wishes.
Erik bought into the ethos of Celtic in a big way and you won’t find many, of any fans saying a bad word about him.
