Robertson had been out on loan to Gillingham during the first half of the season but was recalled by the club even though he was getting significant game time.
Many believed this was due to Celtic losing thirteen players to isolation because the midfielder was called back the same day ScotGov dropped the bombshell on the club.
It appears that wasn’t the case and Celtic wanted to find a new loan deal for the player. Scott is heading back to the same league he played in before, only this time he’s challenging for promotion with Rovers.
It’s a good move for the Celtic youngster and we hope to see him develop enough so he can be part of any reboot this summer.
