Ange Postecoglou is on the hunt for his third trophy today as a Celtic manager when his team takes to Hampden in the final of this season’s League Cup.
The Celts face their city rivals with both sides unbeaten since the World Cup break. Celtic lead the league by nine points but today marks the first chance for silverware this season. The Glasgow rivals have not met in a Hampden final since December 2019, when Celtic clinched the trophy with a 1-0 victory.
The Scottish champions won the tournament again last season while the Ibrox club have not lifted the League Cup since their promotion into the premiership.
Ange is more than capable of throwing a derby day curveball with his team selections but every Hoops fan will assume to know today’s team with maybe one or two question marks on the wingers.
