Confirmed: Celtic Complete the Signing of Jota

CELTIC has completed the signing of Jota, making his loan permanent for a fee of Β£6.5 million. The tricky winger has signed a 5 year deal at paradise, seeing him tied down until the summer of 2027.

The Portuguese winger had a successful first year in Glasgow. He scored thirteen goals and assisted his teammates on fourteen occasions. His skilful play kept the fans on the edge of the seats as he danced down the wings.

It’s a great price of business for Celtic. The signing of the winger shows intent to continue success into next season.

The only downside to the deal is that a 30% sell-on clause will be included in Jota’s contract, quite a large amount. But Celtic will be confident that when the time does come to sell the player, he’ll be worth a lot more than the sum they’ve splashed on him.

Celtic have already tied up Cameron Carter-Vickers, Benjamin Siegrist and Alexandro Bernabei this window – they’ve just kicked things up a notch by signing Jota. What a move!
