Celtic’s in-house commentator for the season pass and BT Sports man Rory Hamilton’s voice is well known nowadays.
Even before Celtic employed him during the empty stadium era, there have been so many imitating him since that fateful night against Lazio when Rory perfectly called the Olivier Ntcham goal; ROME CONQUERED.
Since then, we’ve also had the League Cup final commentary which stated to our rivals it’s not your time yet! It’s Celtic’s time!
The commentator was in the stands for the game against Lille tonight, calling the action and gave a great account of himself as usual. However, he has felt the need to defend himself from one Celtic Fan who thinks he over excitedly called Lille’s goals.
Heard them all now. Caragorically, I want every Scottish team to win in Europe. Football is exciting. Excitement happens. I’m not employed by BT Sport to be a cheerleader. Go listen back to the first two goals-I rather enjoyed them and would’ve loved Celtic to have seen that out

Watching the game from my living room, that never came across to me in the slightest and as commentators go, we thing Rory is right up there. He certainly generates excitement.
