The rumblings of Milan’s interest in Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer refuse to go away. Now BeInSports and CNN correspondent Tancredi Palmeri has claimed Milan HAVE made contact over a deal according to what he’s hearing from Sky Italia.

There has been reports of a bid already but they appear to be wide of the mark. The interest in Ajer from the Italian giants refuses to go away. Leicester looking to challenge Milan for the Norwegian is new.
It would suggest Brendan Rodgers wants to bring in his former Celtic player to help shore up a leaky defence which has been their Achilles heal since the restart.
Celtic are a selling club and everyone has a price – with the club losing money through the COVID shut down, there’s a big possibility Celtic will cash in on one of their stars to help balance the books.
It’s a big season for Celtic and right now, plans are not in place. The Scottish Champions are still chasing a goalkeeper and would have to find a replacement for Ajer if he was to leave.
