We weren’t going to run with this story this evening at first but we feel there’s enough credence to the noises it’s worth putting out there.
CeltsAreHere learned earlier this week the conversations between Bayern Munich player Christopher Scott and Celtic has significantly picked up.
Since Scott’s name reached the media in Scotland over the last 14 days or so, the club has been tentatively trying to make Christopher Celtic’s first summer signing,
The attacking midfielder will move on from the German club in the summer and has a number of options on the table.
Celtic are a very real option for the Christopher and tonight another very well placed source in Celtic Underground has claimed the player could even be a guest at Celtic Park on Saturday against St Johnstone.
The scouting team has been working hard behind the scenes to identify targets for phase 3 of Ange’s rebuild of this Celtic side. If it’s got to the point of a player visiting, then things could be moving along well.
It’s worth noting Celtic have invited players in the past who then passed up the opportunity to sign for the club.
It’s a step in the right direction and from the sources we’ve spoken to in Germany, Christopher could be a steal.
