Celtic were highly tipped to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Christopher Scott earlier this summer [RecordSport], but the deal went quiet after it was revealed he wished to stay in Germany.
However, he hasn’t stayed in Germany. Scott has joined Royal Anderwept in Belgium.

The midfielder won’t be joining Celtic, but this was clear when the club were being linked to other midfielders, like Souza, with contact being made.
Celtic look to be priced out of a move for the Brazilian midfielder; however, there is still a chance to snap him up on loan.
The middle of the park isn’t a priority for Ange, despite two key departures. Ange revealed that Celtic was proactive in January, signing Hatate, O’Riley and Ideguchi.
Two Imminent Celtic Signings
While Celtic are being linked to midfielders, Ange will be keen to get deals for Jota and Bernabei over the line.
Both announcements are imminent, with multiple reports stating that personal terms have been agreed upon, and it’s down to Celtic to announce them.
