After more negotiations yesterday Celtic have now been given permission to discuss personal terms with Ryan Christie.

The statement read:

As a result of a further approach from Celtic FC, and following discussions with the management team and the player, the board of Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC can confirm that Ryan Christie has been given leave to travel to Glasgow to discuss personal terms.

Celtic are very keen to tie up the youngster but there has been no indication if he will be loaned back to ICT if he agrees personal terms with Celtic before the window closes.

Celtic have a plethora of talent in midfield at the moment and another player into the mix will overcrowd the squad so a loan move back would suit all parties.

The fee is believed to be in the Region of 500k after add-ons with a sell-on clause.
