CHRIS SUTTON has reacted to an independent inquiry into the SPFL vote which showed no impropriety surrounding how the vote was carried out at the SPFL’s end.

Chris has been very vocal about the proposal and how he believed it was the best way forward given the circumstances.

The Ibrox club made a lot of noise before, during and after the vote and claimed a whistleblower had come forward to reveal impropriety.

If there was anything underhand, it’s not come from the SPFL as their independent enquiry was opened up to text, emails and correspondence during the vital vote.

Dundee’s vote was hanging for days and made the SPFL look amateurish in their approach. However, no evidence to suggest anything unsavoury has gone down.

Celtic voted yes to the proposal at the time but have reiterated their position is to finish the season on the park.
