Chris Sutton Winds Up Gerrard’s Right Hand Man

Chris Sutton has landed an absolute belter on Ibrox assistant manager Michael Beale after he was reported in the paper today as saying the League Cup final might have been the most one sided final in history.

Beale referring to the December final where a masterclass from Fraser Forster saw Celtic win the trophy.

It was Christopher Jullien’s goal on the day which smashed bears hearts into pieces and made it ten domestic trophies in a row for Celtic.

With no up to date football to speak of, Beale was clearly in a mood to bring up the past in the RecordSport article but Sutton was there to remind Beale that the last two seasons have been the most one sided in history!

Referring to three trebles in three seasons with another on potential on the way. You can make the argument that The Rangers were better on that particular day but on the whole they’ve not been good enough.
