FORMER CELTIC striker Chris Sutton has trolled Ibrox midfielder Todd Cantwell for his social media retraction.
The former Norwich player claimed on Instagram The Rangers lost the game and it wasn’t Celtic who actively won the game for themselves.
He then retracted the comment somewhat on social media. Cantwell claimed he shows no disrespect to opposition teams.
Chris called his comments out on Sunday evening via Twitter, and rightly so.
After reading the retraction from Cantwell, Sutton posted the infamous Homer Simpson going back into the bushes.
Cantwell has been in Glasgow two minutes and clearly isn’t aware every single one of his words will be examined and spotlighted – especially after a derby.
His team lost the game, they should show some humility and put their head down. Instead, Todd and some of his teammates are back in the press running their mouths about the next game.
Celtic won the game and nobody has come out to float are rub salt in the wounds of their rivals. Celtic just continue on and know they need to do their talking on the pitch.
