CHRIS SUTTON was at Hampden on Sunday watching Celtic win another price if silverware, this time at the expense of their Glasgow rivals.
The Englishman was on good form. Sound bites from his commentary and punditry after the game have done the rounds on social media.
He made sure to sarcastically call Ange ‘lucky’ when the manager was being interviewed post-match.
While doing his media duties, Chris was still at pitch side long after the final pieces of green and white confetti had landed on the Hampden surface.
As Sutton surveyed the scene after an incredible afternoon for Celtic, he couldn’t help but notice Reo Hatate was back out on the pitch with a Celtic coach to warm down and go through his paces.
The pundit watching on couldn’t help but be impressed by the players dedication.
“One really noticeable thing after the games that I have covered for Celtic is after games, Hatate is jogging around the pitch with an assistant and warming down. He is so meticulous in his approach.” Cited by HITC.
Reo Hatate’s Celtic Form
Since coming in last January, Reo has slowly become instrumental to this Celtic side. His energy, intelligence and knack for finding big moments in big games makes him a valuable asset.
We wouldn’t be surprised if the other Japanese lads were out in the Hampden turn either before or after Chris watched Reo. Their worth ethic and commitment to their craft is second to none.
Taking in post match press conferences inside Celtic Park, we know from experience these lads are always switched on.
