CHRIS SUTTON told a live BT Sport studio that Steven Gerrard had lost the plot after the Ibrox manager’s comments on Aberdeen’s lack of fight against Celtic.
In an astonishing pre-match press conference the former Liverpool man said Aberdeen try harder against The Rangers than they do when they come up against Celtic. He went onto to say that Aberdeen didn’t lay a glove on Celtic in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup after seeing his team get put out of the two cup competitions by the Dons.
Chris Sutton was in good form as he was asked if Aberdeen try harder against The Rangers than Celtic. The former frontman replied by declaring Gerrard had lost the plot and it was his Pedro Caixinha moment – referring to the former Gers boss who would regularly say bizarre things before and after games.

Celtic have all but wrapped up the title and if Aberdeen want to try hard tomorrow then Celtic could be crowned champions by 5pm Sunday.
