Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton was full of praise for Reo Hatate in his post-match analysis against St Mirren.
Sutton highlighted Hatate’s influential performance in Matt O’Riley’s absence, with the Dane on the verge of joining Brighton.
Who needs Matt O’Riley?… (that’s a joke). Hatate top class today. Very impressive performance at a tricky venue👏👏. Big week ahead for Celtic. Actions speak louder than words. Tremendous start to the season but it’s crucial quality additions are brought in☘️

The Englishman is right to point out that Celtic have been excellent on the pitch since the beginning of the season.
However, they still have a lot to do in the transfer market, with just a week remaining before the window closes.
O’Riley will be a big miss for Celtic, but Hatate looked sensational with a goal this afternoon.

Celtic will look to sign two new midfielders to replace O’Riley’s incredible output and ensure they maintain their competitive edge ahead of the Glasgow Derby next Sunday at Celtic Park.
Time will tell if this transfer window will be judged a success, but at the time of writing, Celtic have certainly left the bulk of their business until the last minute.
