Chris Sutton Reacts to Celtic Loss; ‘A Good Reminder’

CHRIS SUTTON has claimed “too many players not at the level” as he witnessed Celtic receive a wake-up call. His former side were favourites for the match, but we’re humiliated by a team playing the first competitive match of their season.

Taking to Twitter, the pundit praised the Norwegian visitors before turning his attention to Celtic. Sutton believes this was a reality check and there is “work still to be done”

Personally, I think it was more Celtic were poor rather than Bodo/Glimt we’re ‘superb’. Many things never went the Parkhead club’s way tonight, the team selection never helped.

O’Riley and Rogic are both brilliant players, but tonight’s performances demonstrate that the two players can not play in the same team. Too many times Bodo/Glimt eased through Celtic’s midfield with neither of our forward playing midfielders tracking back.

Ultimately, Celtic have a chance to turn things around in the return leg. However, achieving a further round of European football with be challenging for the hoops as they hope to overcome a two-goal deficit.
