Chris Sutton Reacts to BT Sports Losing Scottish TV Rights

CHRIS SUTTON has given his verdict in the news BT Sports will not be carrying Scottish Football from season 20/21.

The news broke early on Monday evening that Sky Sports had procured Exclusive rights to the Scottish game, showing 48 games per season starting 20/21 for the following five years.

Most supporters are upset BT Sport will be leaving the Scottish game after putting up such a strong showing since they got the rights to some of the games in the last TV deal.

The rise to prominence in Scotland from a broadcaster who treated the Scottish game with respect was welcomed by the majority and Sutton’s punditry really got going with the coverage.

Addressing the news that he along with his colleagues will not be covering the game going forward – the Englishman was disappointed but gave his word they will still promote Scottish football to the fullest for the next 18-months.

Sky will takeover after that.
