Chris Sutton didn’t miss the opportunity to comment on Todd Cantwell’s impending departure from Rangers.

Cantwell, who is moving to Blackburn Rovers for about £500k, had an underwhelming stint in Scotland.
Sutton’s sarcastic remark on social media about McGregor’s relief at Cantwell’s exit comes after Tood Cantwell insisted that he wanted to win more than Callum McGregor did. But, despite these ambitions and claims, his tenure at Rangers concludes with a single League Cup—contrastingly modest in comparison to McGregor’s extensive collection of nine league titles, six Scottish Cups and seven League Cups.
Sutton couldn’t help himself as he took to social media to troll the departing player one last time.
Posting on X, he wrote:
I bet Callum McGregor is breathing a big sigh of relief this evening… good luck to Todd he needs to start doing his talking on the pitch. He’s gone to a great club. https://t.co/dzgGf36CpV

TikTok Todd could certainly talk the talk, but he couldn’t walk the walk.
He’s not unlike many players from down south who have come to Scotland and expected to star in the league, but ultimately fail.
