Chris Sutton Delivers Verdict On Celtic’s Late Goal Hero

It has been an impressive first six months for one of Ange Postecoglou’s first summer signings, Liel Abada, who added another crucial goal to his tally in the dying minutes of yesterday’s 1-0 victory over Dundee United.

With that strike, the 20-year old scored his 12th goal of the season, along with collecting eight assists so far; the youngster has made a brilliant start to life at Celtic.

Taking to Twitter in the aftermath of the late goal, former Celtic striker and BT Sport pundit Chris Sutton gave his verdict on the winger, stating that although Abada can be frustrating at times, he pops up with goals and has been a constant threat this season.

It is easy to forget just how young Abada is due to how consistently he is producing for Ange Postecoglou throughout this campaign.

The winger has not long turned 20, and yet you could argue that he has been one of the key players in the side at points in the Hoops title charge.

With that in mind, Abada has the potential to get even better and become more consistent with age, which is an exciting prospect given his first year in the Green and White of Celtic.
