CHRIS SUTTON has claimed it’s a huge day ahead for Scottish football as the deadline for voting on the outcome proposed to clubs finishes at 5pm.
The SPFL have proposed we immediately close down the lower leagues and declare winners and losers. With the top flight, they want to wait until further down the line but if the game can’t resume then Celtic would be champions and Hearts would head back down to the championship.
Nine clubs in the SPFL have to go for this plan, nine in the championship and fifteen between league one and league two.
Sutton knows it’s a big day for the game up here.
Huge day ahead in Scotland. Let’s hope that the survival of many Scottish clubs is at the forefront of clubs minds when they vote… unprecedented times and we all understand self interest but it’s right to do what’s right for the majority in this case for the good of the game…

Celtic have always been adamant they want the games to be played, contrary to what anyone else has been saying. If we can find a way then it will be done. If the vote goes through it answers prize money for clubs and a way forward.
