Chris Sutton was left delighted as Celtic thrashed their city rivals 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.
The Hoops strolled to victory against the Gers, goals coming from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi, and captain Callum McGregor.

It was an immense display from the champions, but they could have easily had more, in the eyes of McGregor.
He reckons the Bhoys should have scored four or five, but it is difficult to take anything away from their performance.
To a man, the champions were outstanding, with every player on the park doing their job efficiently.
Former centre-forward-turned-pundit Sutton, though, thinks one Celt particularly stood out
Indeed, the Englishman thought central defender Liam Scales was that good that Sunday was his best performance in green and white.
“Scales is another who really stepped up to the mark”, said Sutton (RecordSport).
“Even if we do acknowledge that an upgrade might well be required for the Champions League given the concessions last term during the group stage, you can’t argue with what Scales has given and is still giving to his team and his boss.
“Yes Rangers had the odd sight of goal at the weekend, but you could make a strong case for that being the defender’s strongest display in a Celtic shirt.
“Scales attacked the ball strongly, he positioned himself well and, for a guy who gets maligned with the ball at his feet, he used possession reasonably well.”
Although he played well at the weekend, Scales’ place in the team became slightly less secure when Auston Trusty signed for Celtic on transfer deadline day.
The American defender arrived from Sheffield United, with the club shelling out a hefty £6m on his services.
A left-sided centre-back, he has clearly been brought in to push, and potentially replace, Scales in the starting lineup.
Seeing who gets more game time as the season progresses should be intriguing, but nothing can be taken away from the Irishman’s contributions over the past 12 months.
