CHRISTOPHER JULLIEN has sent out an emotional message on social media after finally making his return to action for Celtic on Sunday afternoon.
The defender brought an end to over 14 months out of the game after suffering a horrible knee injury inside an empty Celtic Park back in December 2020.
The Frenchman had to undergo surgery followed by months and months of rehab to get to the point where he made it back onto the pitch.
It was a quiet afternoon against Raith Rovers with the stadium nowhere near capacity but the defender got a massive applause as he made his way onto the pitch. Coming on as a second-half sub, the defender was finally back and the fans were delighted.
Tonight the centre-back sent out this message.

Celtic won 4-0 in the end and have booked their place in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup. Sunday was the first step for Chris, hopefully, he will be involved meaningfully between now and the end of the season.
