One of Celtic’s largest victories in recent years, the Hoops’ 9-0 triumph over Dundee United back in 2022 was nothing short of embarrassing for the Arabs.
The Bhoys were flying at the beginning of the 2022/23 campaign, with ‘Angeball’ in full flow.

A trip to Tannadice is usually difficult but in their fifth league game of the season, the Celts went to the Northeast and turned on the style.
Liel Abada and Kyogo Furuhashi each bagged hat-tricks as Carl Starfelt, Josip Juranovic, and Jota all got in on the act.
In their backyard, United were beaten 9-0 as the champions ran riot. Among the ranks of Jack Ross’ men that day was Charlie Mulgrew.
The former Celt, who is now in charge of Hamilton Accies’ under-18s, didn’t play in the hammering but admitted it left an emotional impact on him and his teammates.
“I didn’t play against Celtic, but to lose 9-0, you were just spiralling into depression then”, he said (RecordSport).
“The fear and everything is coming, and then you are just getting beat and getting beat.
“Before you know it, you are on the pitch and you are lower than a snake’s belly confidence-wise and you get accused of downing tools.
“The last thing you want to do as a human being is down tools, but you are gone. You are emotionally drained, you have no confidence, you are bordering on depression.”
Mulgrew ended his playing career the season of the 9-0 loss. The result will live long in the memory of every Celtic supporter, but the 38-year-old remains desperate to forget it.
