According to reports, Celtic’s lowland League Glasgow Derby hero Joey Dawson has become a priority target for Championship side Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The striker came on as a late sub in the Glasgow Derby B fixture and scored a brace to put the game beyond all doubt for the Hoops at Parkhead.
The striker could now be on his way to the Championship to play against better opposition and test himself at a higher level than the lowland league.
Football Scotland report, ICT have enquired about the Celtic forward’s availability.
The Hoops should be very open to sending the 19-year-old out at this point in his career.
Joey signed for Celtic at the beginning of last season, but has not made as big an impact as he would’ve liked to this point.
Nephew of former Spurs defender Michael Dawson, the youngster is looking to carve his own way in the game. Would four months up north help him develop?
