Champions League Qualifier Boost – Summer Signing Set for Early Start

LEWIS MORGAN is set to join up with his new teammates before they break off next month for a short summer break.

Lewis revealed last month that once St Mirren has secured the Championship title and promotion he would be allowed to head to Glasgow to start working with Celtic.

St Mirren only have one game left against Falkirk next weekend, after that the player who officially signed in January but was quickly loaned back will begin his Celtic journey.

Lewis has been St Mirren’s best player this season as the buddies went from no hopers to title winners under Jack Ross.

It was important for Lewis to finish what he started in Paisley and Brendan Rodgers obliged, giving his new signing more first team game time before next season.

The attacking midfielder will now come in and be assessed by the Celtic coaches and will be getting prepared for Celtic’s hectic summer schedule once the Champions League qualifiers get started – a handy bonus.
