CELTIC TV has moved to insure current subscribers will not be affected by the new virtual season ticket plan about to be rolled out to season ticket holders.
The club have announced it will be an entirely separate platform when the streams go live in August and it won’t affect current Celtic TV subscribers.
Right now, Celtic stream live home games to subscribers outside the UK and Ireland and that will continue to be the case.
For our @CelticTV subs asking. The new #CelticFC Virtual Season Ticket platform will be separate to Celtic TV.
Celtic TV will continue to operate as normal for our subscribers. 🍀 https://t.co/C5K6OCvdmW

The new setup will most likely see season ticket holders signing in with their client code and setting up an account so they don’t miss the action.
It will be a massive undertaking for the club and something they have to get right straight away. If there are substantial teething problems going into the season with the quality of the service it could be a stressful experience.
Hopefully they’ve learned lessons from streaming to outside the UK. Many of our readers have contacted us in the past about the sub-par service. Hopefully, with all eyes on the product, there will be a concerted effort to deliver the best possible experience.
