Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer appears to be edging ever closer to an exit from the Hoops, with a deal agreed between the club and Brentford.
Reports have suggested that Celtic will be netting £13.5 million-plus addons, as the newly-promoted English Premier League side prepare to break their transfer record to sign the Norweigan defender.
With the 23-year old going into the final year of his deal at the club, this looks to be some great business by the Hoops getting that sort of fee under the circumstances.
It is also highly likely that a sell-on fee was included in the deal to sell the talented defender.
Agent Scotland reporting the clause sits at 10%.
£13.5m+ potential add ons & a 10% sell on fee is probably as good a deal Celtic could get for Kris Ajer considering his contract is up in 11 months, he's the prototype for their blueprint, buy young loan out & eventually win a place in the team before moving on for a vast profit.

In the past, we have seen Celtic net significantly more profit by doing this. A key example of this is Virgil Van Dijk’s move to Liverpool from Southampton a few years after his spell in Scotland.
Now, that isn’t us suggesting that Ajer will be anywhere near as good as the Dutchman. However, it does show with the money involved down south, the sort of profit Celtic can continue to make by adding a sell-on fee to the deal.
Plenty of eyes will be on Ajer and Brentford after their promotion from the English Championship last season. Many are keen to see how the Bees perform in their first season in the top flight, after an impressive few years in the second tier.
