The side are currently just two points behind City, and with a game against them still to play, the title is still up for grabs.
Celtic have already beaten City twice in the last few weeks, winning 4-2 in the league, before winning 1-0 in the Scottish Cup to book themselves a place in the final against The Rangers.
Celtic FC Women will be looking to make their mark on the title race when they face league leaders Glasgow City at Celtic Park on Thursday, May 11 (KO 7:30pm).
Ticket information will be released in the near future, but the club has announced that current season ticket holders will be able to attend for free, but a small booking fee will apply.
In reaction to the announcement, Celtic Women’s manager Fran Alonso said:
“To be able to play at Celtic Park again is an amazing opportunity, especially as we come up against the current league leaders in our push for the title.
“I would love if as many fans as possible could come along and support the Ghirls in what could be a defining game in our season, and hopefully it’ll be a day we never forget.”
Hopefully, there can be a great crowd behind the Ghirls as they push for the League title.
