Celtic have some key players to come back but if we continue our away form, the league will already be beyond this group by the time we have a full squad to choose from.
Three of Celtic’s next four SPFL ties are away and it doesn’t get any easier. Celtic will play Motherwell, Aberdeen and Hibernian away from home and the one game we have at home will be at Dundee Utd.
Celtic are Jekyll and Hyde when it comes to home and away form. We have not won an away game in the SPFL since February. Ange has failed to win the first three away games 0/9 points for the Hoops is utterly unacceptable.
We know how Livi want to play and will play, we know what Motherwell, Hibernian and Aberdeen will want to do, yet we don’t appear to be equipped to deal with things.
Ange needs to find a way to win and quickly. Celtic fans will continue to back the Australian through this rebuild, but he has to continue to deliver progress. The game against Livingston was the first game this season we couldn’t really find any tangible positivity.
The manager has been up against it from the start, he’s shown signs he can get this team playing but how many points can we expect from the next three away days?
