CELTIC have until this evening to submit their squad for their first Champions League qualifier.
The bhoys will take on Armenian side Alaskhert as they look to progress in the competition.
As we all know there’s a UEFA deadline for naming your 25 man squad for each qualifying round and midnight Thursday is the deadline for the Alashkert game.
This means if Celtic are working on multiple deals, ideally they would want to be signed up before tonight in order to play a part in the game.
The 25 man squad has to comprise of eight homegrown players and 17 who don’t meet the home grown status can be names. Within that, at least two players must be goalkeepers.
There is also a B list where Celtic can register youth players without using the space up in their 25 man squad but could still play.
Celtic have been working on deals for John McGinn and Harry Wilson, should either of them sign before the deadline they can go straight into the squad. If both are signed after the deadline, only one of them would be eligible to be a wild card pick.
A wild card pick is a player you can register within 24 hours of the game starting assuming a space is left for them to begin with.
Can Celtic get any deals done before the deadline?
