Celtic’s Europa League Injury Blow – Lennon Confirms

The Celtic manager has confirmed Mohamed Elyounoussi will be out for a nother 7-10 days which will mean the midfielder will miss the Livingston game AND the Rennes game on Thursday next week.

Mohamed was sent home from international duty with a foot injury. The player picked it up during the Hampden semi-final against Hibernian at the start of the month.

Even though he’s had ten days to recover, the player is not in a position to be in the squad which is a big blow.

Hatem Elhamed is only going to be out for another couple of weeks which is great news considering some thought his year was over.

Celtic’s intense fixture list kicks into geat on Saturday and won’t stop until December 29th. After the SPFL Glasgow Derby tie at the end of the year, the winter break will begin and the bhoys will travel to Dubai for a mini pre-season.
