Celtic’s Euro Rivals in Turmoil

CELTIC will hold their head high after their 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid; it was a respectable performance, and the teams matched each other for large parts of the game.

In the other game in Group F, RB Leipzig was well and truly beaten by Shakhtar Donetsk. The Germans were thumped 4-1 at home by the Ukrainian side with former Celtic player Shved bagging a brace.

After a poor few results, conceding four goals two games in a row, RB Leipzig is set to ask their manager. Marco Rose, a familiar name to Celtic fans, could be the man who is in the dugout when Celtic meets the side next month.

The German manager has previously worked with the RB group, managing RB Salzburg. He then took over at Borussia Mönchengladbach before a short stint at Dortmund.

Shakhtar is top of the group with Celtic to play next; it’s going to be an interesting matchup.
