DAVID MARSHALL is set to make a return to Celtic Park on Saturday, with the former Celtic number one set to start for Hibs.
The goalie joined the Edinburgh club in the summer on a free transfer after a short stint at Wigan. It’s the first time he’ll play against Celtic at Parkhead since he left for Norwich in 2007.
David’s outstanding display in the Camp Nou to help knock out Barcelona from the UEFA Cup under Martin O’Neill is still a story told to this day.

Postecoglou’s side will look to put in a statement of a performance, bouncing back from the Champions League defeat on Tuesday night. The Saturday 3 pm kick-off is set to be an entertaining encounter, with Hibs entering some form in recent weeks.
As quoted by The Scotsman, the player who broke into the Celtic side as a teenager said this about his return;
“This will be the first time I’ve gone back to play Celtic, it will be weird having been there when I was so young and going back now.
“But I am looking forward to it, you want to be playing in these stadiums.
“I know a few of the people who are still there, John Kennedy was there when I was coming through and is on the staff now, and I know Stevie Woods from when he was in the academy at Celtic and then moved up.”
Marshall was Scotland’s number 1 during the Euros, but has lost his spot in the team since, with another former Celtic keeper in Craig Gordon now Stevie Clarke’s trusted man.
