Celtic’s Brilliant Post-Match Tweet

Celtic were 2-0 going on 6-0 against Kilmarnock on Saturday afternoon at Celtic Park. The Hoops second half display was superb and had it not been for the Kilmarnock goalkeeper and the post, the bhoys would have ran riot on the score line.

The official Celtic account summed it up perfectly at the end of the game when they posted an image of the Celtic Park post with an angry face emoji at full time.

Derek McInnes was as negative as it gets when it comes to setting up his team. Even at 2-0 with nothing to lose, they sat in and time wasted as much as possible.

McInnes clearly not wanting his team to be demoralised with a heavy defeat by coming out and trying to score. However, on another day that would have happened anyway.

Celtic go 12 points clear at the top of the SPFL on Saturday evening with Micky Beale’s men playing away to Dundee Utd on Sunday.

The bhoys looked very comfortable at Celtic Park and Reo Hatate was rightfully the MOTM. Up next is the semi-final at Hampden against Killie again. Hopefully the Hoops can hit the net more than the post this time.
