Celtic are being credited with an interest in Spurs defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, The American international defender spent last season out on loan to Bournemouth where he impressed under Jonathan Woodgate.
His loan spell now over, Cameron is weighing up his options as a first team tilt at Spurs looks unlikely.
Celtic are in the market for a lot of positions but centre-back is certainly one of them
The 6ft defender helped Bournemouth to a Championship playoff place but they fell at the semi-final hurdle.
At 23, Cameron fits right into Celtic’s transfer vision, bring in for a modest fee, help develop then sell for a much larger price.
Another Cameron Carter-Vickers update per source close to the player: Scottish club Celtic has shown interest in acquiring him from Tottenham this summer. Fulham/Cardiff City interest has quieted a bit. #USMNT #THFC #CelticFC

Celtic’s rebuild will not be done in one transfer window but Ange Postecoglou must bring in first team ready players in the next few weeks or the bhoys will suffer on their return.
Carter-Vickers presents a decent opportunity for the club. However, because he played so well for the Cherries last term, there are English side’s after him too.
