Celtic Women have managed to do something nobody else has this season and BEAT Glasgow City.
The Ghirls won the game 4-2 at Petershill in a well deserved victory for Fran Alonso’s side.
Glasgow City have been on a different level this season, and Celtic have struggled to match them at times. However, on Sunday, they came up with a massive win that keeps their Champions League dream alive. The Ghirls won despite missing two penalties on the day.
Two goals from Flint and a goal a piece for Hayes and Ross made sure of the victory.

Any points dropped would have saw Rangers women sneak into second.
Celtic are five points off the top and despite Sunday’s win, it would still be a long shot for the Ghirls to go and win the title.
If they can get that Champions League spot and make it to the final of the Scottish Cup, it would be seen as another great season with this side taking big steps to secure a league title in the coming years.
Celtic are not as well funded as their two main rivals. Something the club should be looking to bridge, but the recruitment from Fran and his team has put them in a fantastic position once again.
They have to do it all again against Glasgow City in the cup. A trip to Hampden awaits.
