Celtic’s Matt O’Riley was been recognised for his standout performances this season with a nomination for the PFA Scotland Premiership Player of the Year award.

O’Riley, who has been a pivotal figure in Celtic’s midfield, is up against stiff competition including Rangers’ James Tavernier and Jack Butland, alongside Lawrence Shankland.
Also representing Celtic, for the women’s award, is Amy Gallagher. The great-granddaughter of Patsy Gallagher has been nominated for the SWPL1 Player of the Year.
🏆 Congratulations to our very own Amy Gallacher, who is one of four nominees for the @PFAScotland SWPL1 Player of the Year award!

Gallagher, who has had an exceptional season with Celtic Women, is nominated alongside Hibs’ Jorian Baucom and the Rangers duo of Kirsty Maclean and Rachel Rowe.
Gallagher’s impressive statistics include 22 goals and 18 assists in 25 appearances. She’s been superb for the women this season, and if they do go on to win the league, a large part will be down to her contributions.
This recognition highlights the significant impact both players have had on their teams and the wider Scottish football landscape.
The winners will be decided by their fellow professionals, adding an extra layer of prestige to these accolades.
