Portuguese insider Pedro Almeida delivered a Saturday night message to Celtic fans on the permanent signing of Benfica player Jota.
The Benfica loan bhoy is having a stand out season got the Hoops so far and the fans are desperate to see the loan deal become permanent.
According to Pedro, Celtic will ‘advance’ the permanent signing of the winger before the season is out.
This will be music to the ears of Celtic supporters. Jota has been a sensation since joining the club and is really enjoying his football.
CeltsAreHere.com asked Ange Postecoglou when the deal is likely to be done last week – the manager said Jota is enjoying his football and he and the club will sit down at some point to thrash out his future.
Any deal is of course hinging on both parties wanting the deal to happen. We can’t say for certain what Jota and his agents will be thinking. We’ve been around the block enough to know things can change pretty quickly in football.
