Celtic vs Hamilton- Preview

First off will start with a Merry Christmas to all Celtic fans out there and hope you are having a great day.

Despite the festive cheer, Celtic are back in action once again tomorrow when they take on Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park.

This is yet another important game for Neil Lennon and his side as they look to continue the winning run and build some momentum ahead of a huge period for the boys in Green and White.

Going into the match, the Hoops are looking to make it five wins on the bounce. A feat which hasn’t been achieved by the club since early October this season.

Hamilton are a side who are missing several key players having both injury issues and players out after being forced to self-isolate due to a positive test within the squad.

In their last match, they were defeated 2-0 by inform Livingston. In the last five games though, they have mustered together two wins against Kilmarnock and Ross County which could prove pivotal in the season, placing them in 11th place at this stage, five ahead of bottom side Ross County and just four points behind 7th place.

Even though they have their problems, it could prove to be a tricky test on the astroturf pitch in South Lanarkshire. Last time we visited, we ran away 4-1 winners but it didn’t tell the whole story of the game with three of the goals coming within the final 12 minutes.

Picking up the three points is crucial going into the game at Ibrox on the 2nd of January. At this stage, we just have to take it one game at a time though and make sure we secure the win.
