The match will see Daizen Maeda and Tomoki Iwata return to their former club, Yokohama F. Marinos, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the encounter.
Had Ange Postecoglou still been manager of Celtic, he would also be returning to his former side, but instead, Brendan Rodgers will lead the the team in Japan.
