Celtic welcome St. Johnstone to Glasgow’s east end this Saturday as the Bhoys aim to get back to winning ways following last Sunday’s horrific display in Ayrshire.
The Perth side has not been on the greatest form this season, providing ideal opposition for the champions to get back to winning ways.
We give you a predicted lineup ahead of the match amid an ongoing injury crisis. Firstly, in goal, it is certain Joe Hart will get the nod.
There are few options available at central defence for the Hoops, and perhaps the only two are Liam Scales and new signing Gustaf Lagerbielke. That is likely to be the pairing that begins the clash due to injuries to Cameron Carter-Vickers, Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh.
Greg Taylor will get the nod at left-back, and I believe Alistair Johnston will play at right-back. The Candian has been training with the Hoops’ first team of late, and Brendan Rodgers will be eager for him to build up match fitness and sharpness ahead of next weekend’s trip to Ibrox.

In the engine room, we will likely see a trio of Callum McGregor, Odin Thiago Holm, and Matt O’Riley play again. Up top, Kyogo will start with Liel Abada and Daizen Maeda on either side of him.
The Celtic team that starts versus St. Johnstone this weekend will probably be the one that does the same versus Rangers next Sunday. Manager Rodgers will want stability regarding his lineup going into such a clash, which begins this weekend.
