Ange Postecoglou has a lot of things to consider heading into matchday four of the Champions League but knows what will be required to take on RB Leipzig once again.
It was a disappointing evening in Germany last week for the Hoops but they will be hoping to right the wrongs of that performance and show their worth tonight.
In the 2-1 victory over St Johnstone at the weekend, Postecoglou made six changes to the side who had lost in Germany with it being likely that there will be more alterations made this evening.
It’s a welcome boost for Celtic to have defender Cameron Carter-Vickers return to action with the 24-year old being handed the captains armband in the absence of Callum McGregor who is not likely to return to action until after the World Cup.
Having played alongside Stephen Welsh at the weekend, this is likely the pairing that Postecoglou will go with in front of Joe Hart although Moritz Jenz has been given the all clear after having had an illness at the weekend.
Both fullbacks are also likely to change with Josip Juranovic and Greg Taylor being left out the side at the weekend for a much needed rest.
The midfield area provides Postecoglou with a headache, but he made be tempted to go with the same trio that faced St Johnstone which would leave Matt O’Riley playing in a deeper midfield role which he confirmed he has already played in while at Fulham.
If Haksabanovic plays in midfield, it will allow for another forward player to get a chance.
Postecoglou is expected to make a late decision on Jota but could be tempted to throw Giorgos Giakoumakis in tonight with Kyogo possibly playing on the left hand side with Liel Abada on the other.
