Similarly to the Hoops, the Bairns have started their domestic season impeccably. They currently sit top of the Scottish Championship and enter the last eight of the league cup brimming with confidence.

The Celts are equally positive heading into Sunday’s match. Although it is a step down in opposition for the Bhoys, they are desperate to win back the league cup and will look to take a significant step towards the semi-finals.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the match.

When and Where

Celtic face Falkirk in the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup this Sunday at 3pm.

Who is in charge?

Calum Scott will referee the game. Graeme Stewart and David Dunne are the linesmen, while Andrew Dallas is on VAR duties, assisted by Andrew McWilliam.

TV and Stream

This weekend’s match is live on Premier Sports 1. Fans outside the UK and Ireland can watch proceedings on Celtic TV.

Team News

Defensive duo Alistair Johnston and Cameron Carter-Vickers missed training today after being allowed some extra time off due to their strenuous schedules.

They likely won’t play a part this weekend, with Brendan Rodgers expected to make a few alterations to his starting eleven from Wednesday.

Falkirk will prove a stern test, but the boss can afford to introduce some new talent into the team as he looks to utilise his full squad.
