Celtic face Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening in a colossal Champions League clash. To gain any hint of European progression, the Hoops must take something from the match.
The Spaniards are certainly the favourites going into this one, but the Hoops will most definitely put up a fight. Here is everything you need to know ahead of the game.

TV and Stream
TNT Sports 3 are showing the game live. Celtic TV will not be streaming this one anywhere in the world, rather, they will be providing live audio description.

Who Is In Charge?

Team News
Thankfully for Brendan Rodgers, no injuries were picked up at Tynecastle. This means that everyone who played there is fit and available for midweek.
Maik Nawrocki, who has been out for a while with an injury, was training in the lead-up to Hearts so could indeed make an appearance, even if it is just off the bench, here. Long-term absentees Liel Abada and Stephen Welsh remain out, along with Marco Tilio.
Apart from that, though, there are a few issues with Rodgers’ squad, which will be greatly pleasing for the Irishman, who will need everyone at the top of their game for this one.
If the Celts are to gain any sort of European progression, picking up at least a point against Diego Simeone’s side is crucial. It is not impossible, but it will undoubtedly be a tough task for the treble-winning champions.
