Celtic fans are feeling the tension as the summer transfer window progresses with no new signings confirmed, despite the club being linked to a host of players.

Among the latest rumours is Ireland and Burnley midfielder Dara O’Shea, adding to the extensive list of potential acquisitions.
Brendan Rodgers is looking to add proven players to his squad, who boast experience as well as quality.
This deliberate approach in the transfer market explains the slower pace of activity.
Back in February, with Celtic emerging from a what felt like another slapdash transfer window, Brendan Rodgers said that the club had to be braver in the transfer market.
He told CeltsAreHere, “I would go with the supporters thinking we maybe could be a little braver in terms of bringing in another level of player.
“What I want to hopefully try and balance of my time here is that we can still do that because that is an important part of the modern game, bringing in a player that has still growth left in them. But we also want to be brave enough to try to hang our hat on a player who’s a ready-made player and someone that can come in.”
Last year, we saw Celtic have a few signings in the door when this time came around, but they were projects and eventually viewed as surplus to requirements facing the prospect of being shipped off this summer.
So while it may be frustrating that the club have not dipped their toe in the market yet, it could be viewed as a positive that Celtic are taking their time and doing their due diligence this summer, before rushing into any signing. And, if you look at the most recent link, Dara O’Shea, he’s a Premier League quality defender at a good age.
