Celtic have been linked with Sheffield Utd defender George Baldock over the weekend. [RecordSport]
The English right-back and his side had a nightmare season in the Premier League and were sent packing from the top flight with games to spare.
Baldock, like the rest of his teammates, had a season to forget and the bhoys at the Cynic have the stats to prove it.
The lads put in an incredible amount of work into giving the Celtic fans information on potential signing targets.
George does not come across well in his stats for last season.

We need ready made first team players and we certainly need a trustworthy right back.
Is Baldock a viable candidate?
The argument will be the EPL is a much higher standard and he’s been left exposed by a horrible frontline. However, for a team who are under the cosh for long periods of the game, the defender surely should have had more interceptions and tackles won.
It seems like a middle of the road signing, perhaps someone who can do a job but is never going to excel for the club.
We’ve not had an all-around right-back since Mikael Lustig left the club two years ago. Jeremie Frimpong was more of an attacking threat than a defensive stalwart, you need to be able to do both as a Celtic full-back.
Baldock is not the answer but I suppose it depends on what question you’re asking.
