NEIL LENNON has put a £5million price tag on his star midfielder after speculation over John McGinn’s future ramped up this week.

The Irishman knows he has a talent on his hands and refuses to allow the player to go on the cheap.
Even though there’s some sense in what Neil is saying, there is no way Celtic will pay that amount for John.
Hibs broke their transfer record fee 10 years ago thanks to Celtic when they paid £4.4million for Scott Brown. While John has great potential, it looks unlikely that Celtic would break Hibs transfer record once again to land the midfielder.
Speaking about his player, Neil knows John will leave at some point: “It is inevitable with the progress John is making that there will be interest in him.
“He has a price. I think in this day and age, £5m would cover it.
“I value him very highly, as we all do here, and we won’t sell ourselves short if the bids come in for him.”
Celtic have a large number of midfielders already with Lewis Morgan and Ryan Christie both coming back into the fold next season.
It’s thought it could be a summer of turnaround with a few players stalling on Celtic deals.
