Brøndby are reportedly set to up their asking price for Mathias Kvistgaarden this month after Kyogo Furuhashi’s move to Rennes.
With Kyogo set to move to the Ligue 1 side for a reported €10 million, it has affected the Danish Superliga side’s asking price.

Brøndby are in a strong position, with RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt also said to be interested in signing Kvistgaarden. A move this month will prove difficult due to the Danish side holding all the aces.
UPDATE: Celtic are expected to make another approach for Brondby striker Mathias Kvistgaarden.
Brondby are not keen to sell the 22yo in this window, unless a record bid in excess of £10m came in.
As things stand, there’s been no official contact between the clubs this month. https://t.co/SMfxMgepEz pic.twitter.com/QE1SNYU8pS

Despite reports of Celtic being strongly interested in a move, no contact has been made between the clubs this month, meaning it will likely take some time before an agreement can be made between the teams.
The Hoops appear to be looking to wait until Kyogo’s move is completed before beginning negotiations with Kvistgaarden and Brøndby, which may come as a frustration to supporters. However, with negotiations between Celtic, Jota, and Kieran Tierney also ongoing, the Scottish Premiership champions are attempting to work on as many deals as they can at once.
