Celtic will make a profit on flop Ange Postecoglou signing Alexandro Bernabei.
The left-back joined the Hoops in the summer of 2022 as competition for Greg Taylor.
Bernabei, however, struggled to settle into life in Glasgow and failed to set the heather alight.

He left the Hoops on loan earlier this year, signing for Brazilian top-flight side Internacional.
By all accounts, the 24-year-old excelled in South America. He made 25 appearances for Inter in all competitions, scoring three goals and assisting five. He was named in the Serie A’s Team of the Season for his standout performances.
The Latest on Bernabei’s Future
Bernabei’s future remains undecided. Internacional, however, are keen to buy him permanently.
According to UK-based Argentinian journalist Seba Ongarelli on X, the Brazilians are currently negotiating with Celtic, and have priority to buy the player until December 31. After then, other interested clubs from Europe and South America can get involved.
Bernabei’s next destination remains unknown, but according to Ongarelli, Celtic will make a profit on the £3.75m (Sky Sports) they spent on the defender under Postecoglou’s watch two and a half years ago.
He never got going in Glasgow, although a change of scenery and return to living in a culture similar to that of his home country has served him well.
