A headline we’re all too familiar with these days but it’s worth noting that the Celtic Ladies absolutely outclassed their Govan opponents this afternoon with a familiar scoreline.
The SWPL game between the two sides today kicked off at 2pm and apart from a small blip when The Rangers women equalised, Celtic quickly took control back.

The Glasgow Derby game was a chance for The Rangers to make up some ground on Celtic who were already nine points ahead of them. Now after today’s game The Rangers are twelve behind Celtic.
However, Celtic only sit third place in the SWPL with Glasgow City and Hibernian Ladies ahead of them.
Glasgow City actually clinched the league this afternoon with a 3-0 win over Hibernian Ladies.
The Celtic ladies will now look to next season to close the gap on their rivals.
